Prepare one recipe of Eastern North Carolina BBQ sauce, and set aside.
Cut ribs into three pieces, and coat with BBQ rub.
Place in plastic bag with a cup of Carolina sauce for up to 24 hours but not less than 4 hours.
Add apple juice and apple cider vinegar to cooker, and warm on saute setting for a minutes.
Add rack that came with cooker to pot, and arrange ribs in cooker. Close and lock lid according to manufacturers instructions.
Set to Meat/Stew setting, and reduce time to 23-minutes. When done cooking do a 10-minute natural release according to your manufacturers instructions.
Remove ribs gently to a baking sheet. Brush with Carolina sauce, and coat with your favorite BBQ on the meat side. Broil for 5 - 10 minutes or until bubbly and caramelized.
