Eastern North Carolina BBQ Sauce

A tangy BBQ sauce that will elevate your pulled pork for BBQ season!

  • 2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp hot red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup mustard
  • 1 tbsp hot sauce


  • Combine all ingredients into a medium saucepan, and heat to simmer. Once all ingredients are incorporated turn heat off, and cool. Use immediately or store in an airtight container. 


Can be stored for up to two months in an airtight container.
