Ingredient notes
- Frozen breadsticks - any frozen breadsticks will work for this recipe. You can use garlic or cheese-filled ones.
How to make this
The breadsticks that you use should be cooked frozen. Remove the breadstick from the package. Arrange in a single layer in the air fryer.
Set the temperature to 340 degrees and set the timer for 5 minutes. No preheating is needed.
Flip the breadsticks over to finish cooking. If the breadsticks are topped with cheese do not flip them over.
Total cook time is 8-10 minutes at 340 degrees. After flipping cook for the lower end of the threshold for 3 minutes and then check for doneness. Cook until they reach the level of crispiness and doneness you are looking for.
Expert tips
Depending on your air fryer size you may need to adjust the time. I used an Instant Pot Air Fryer lid so I cooked these in batches.
Melt butter and mix with:
- Parmesan cheese and garlic powder
- Ranch seasoning
- Bread dipping spices and herbs
- Everything bagel seasoning
FAQs
Wrap in a damp paper towel and microwave for ten seconds.
No, it should not. The starch molecules recrystallize causing the bread to go stale faster.
